2210 Patisserie was founded in 2015 by Una Leonard.
Una, developed a keen interest in baking from a young age and pursued this interest through school and college. Una studied and graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts and Business from Galway, Mayo Institute of Technology.
This degree opened doors for her into some of the finest restaurants in Ireland including Neven McGuires MacNean House. While Una was working as a pastry chef she developed a love for creating luxury combinations using the finest ingredients and also discovered an exquisite eye for detailing.
Una honed her skills with many varied establishments developing bespoke dessert menus for their clientele.
On the 2.2.10 Una became an Aunt for the first time and it was through creating birthday cakes for her nephew that she took her first steps into the cake decorating world. This special date also inspired the name of her business. After years of perfecting her cake decorating skills and growing her client base it was time for Una to open the doors of her first bakery on the 2nd of February 2015.
Her aim is to create and develop a bespoke piece that that is unique to each occasion and leaves a wonderful taste that will never be forgotten.
